Horsham Life Saving Club was founded in 1982. Since then it has grown from strength to strength.
Currently, We train every Thursday at Pavilions In The Park, Horsham for 2 hours covering first aid and practical skills in the pool.
Between our instructors, we have a collective 50+ years of lifesaving experience.
This is our normal year, starting with a new class in January, all our classes then follow the same structure. For the first 5 months, our new class learns the basics, while our existing classes strengthen their lifesaving knowledge. This follows the National Lifesaving Academy Framework (NLA) from RLSS UK.
Then, starting in June, we start going to Southwater Country Park, Lancing and Littlehampton, following the NLA Curriculum.
We then return to the pool in September and start preparing our members for the club competition in November. Click here to learn more about competitions.
